In-Home Hospice

Veterinary Hospice is a specialized palliative care service offered to families and their geriatric or terminally ill pets.

Similar to human hospice, the goal of In-Home Hospice is to minimise pain and suffering and maximise quality of life, rather than treating for a cure. We aim to keep pets as happy and comfortable as possible until their natural end of life, or until euthanasia is sought.

Veterinary Hospice Care may include:

  • An initial consultation to discuss your pets’ needs and health
  • A customised hospice care plan for your pet
  • Client education about the disease processes
  • Supportive care
  • Pain recognition and treatment

Consultation and initial veterinary hospice care plan $100

I hope to make people realize how totally helpless animals are, how dependant on us, trusting as a child must that we will be kind and take care of their needs.” ~James Herriot
